Short range Wireless Terminals

Short range wireless terminals use 2.4 GHz / 865-868 MHz license free band to communicate up to 20 KM’s by hopping .These short range wireless modules support Star, Tree and Mesh network topologies and can communicate up to a speed of 250 kbps. Short range wireless terminals are used for

(1) Serial port bridging
(2) Creating a multi-drop serial port for serial devices having RS232 or RS485 serial ports using a high speed, secure and reliable wireless communication network.

 

CSL21 Series

CSL21 terminals are wireless transceiver designed for license-free operation in 2.4GHz band. Out-of the box, the radio sustains a standard asynchronous serial data stream between two or more wireless terminals. CSL21 series Terminals are equipped to replace hundreds of meters of cabling with its wireless link.

CSL2101

CSL2101 Terminal operates in a Point-to-Point or Point-to-Multipoint (Mesh Network), Master-Slave or Peer-to-Peer architecture. In a network one transceiver is configured as Master and remaining as Slaves. Initially for establishing RF link between Master and Slaves, slave devices will identify connection requests discharged by the Master. Each CSL2101 terminals has a unique Device ID. In a network, CSL2101 terminals communicate over a unique PAN ID and Channel.

CSL2101 features an RS-232 or RS-485 interface for integrating legacy data systems. CSL1201 is housed in a compact and rugged Anti-slip Plastic (ABS Standard) enclosure. The compact size of CSL2101 makes it easy to use in temporary networks, mobile units and fixed installations. The PAN ID and Channel number of CSL2101 can be modified using the configuration software available. CSL2101 supports RS-232 or RS-485 (2-wire Half Duplex) protocols. Same network can have CSL1201 with RS232 and CSL1201 with RS485.

CSL2102

CSL2102 is designed for point to point wireless communication of digital and analog (0-2 V) signals. Slave reads two digital input status (NO/NC) and two analog values from the end device and transmits to the Master device. Master accepts the data and reproduces the digital status and analog voltage.

CSL2102 can form a multi drop wireless network wherein the Master (Receiver) will collect two digital input status and two analog values from slave devices in the network. Master pushes the data received from the clients to the serial port in digital format. PC connected to the Master CSL2102 can collect from the serial port for further processing.

 

CSL22 Series

The CSL22 RF Terminals are wireless transceiver designed for license-free operation in the 865MHz band. CS22 Series terminals sustain a standard asynchronous serial data stream between two or more wireless terminals. The device features an RS-232 or RS-485 interface for integration into legacy data systems. Housed in a compact and rugged die-cast aluminum enclosure; this terminal is equipped to replace thousands of meters of serial cable with its wireless link

CSL2201

CSL2201 RF TERMINAL operates in a Point-to-Point or Point-to-Multipoint, Client-Server or Peer-to-Peer architecture. In a Master-Slave network one master can have many clients.

CSL2201 is small and easily portable for use in mobile and temporary settings as well as for in fixed installations. The CSL2201 configuration software enables custom configurations based on unique application requirements

CSL2201 supports RS-232/ RS-485 (2-wire Half Duplex) serial protocols. In a cabled environment, the RS-485 protocol can tolerate high noise and push signals over long cable lengths. RS-485 cabling can also communicate as far as 4000 feet (1200m) and offer multi-drop capability where up to 32 nodes can be connected. RS-232 cabling is suitable for distances less than 100 feet (30.5m) and only supports point-to-point communications.
